Partner in crime

I spent a weekend recently trying to paint 33 state troopers. It was arduous and my painting stamina isn't that good. So a shout out to this guy! Because he did a fair bit of helping. Thanks Matt. 

Character WIPs

So I've gone a little nuts for wizards, I want all 8Lores and I'm over half way!! I also have an arch lector that is almost all the way there.. Just need to do some basing and details. 

Artillery

Just finished assembling some artillery.. Quite happy with it too! Trying to paint yellow is my worst nightmare. Just need some bases now.

eBay bargain!

So I just thought I'd share my recent eBay success, I managed to pick up 29 great swords and a warrior priest fully painted and based; to (in my opinion) a great standard!! Now I'm jut dreading adding more to the unit.. Eeek! Maybe they can hide in the back ha!

Slann done!!

All done, it was being worked on among other bits so it took longer than I hoped.. I just need to add grass to disguise the green stuff holding down the relics.

Slann WIP

So Here are some work in progress shots of my Slann, 

I've opted for a dark purple with fleshy soft underbelly. I feel that it looks poisonous without being too brightly coloured.

I've added bronze and yellow eyes.

I dry brushed the skin with a electric pink and added some mottling?.. I'm going to go with that.. mottling to his flesh areas. 

Popped him onto his throne.. now I'm struggling with the scale colours for my Saurus etc.. What colour would work well with the flesh tones? And I also need to base him, I'm thinking some relics will do the job.

Biting off more than i can chew...

Well I've spent the past few months building up small amounts of Warhammer fantasy.. I now have 3 armies started on top of WH40k and a start to GorkaMorka. I'm also trying to create a pen & paper RPG. I can only blame myself..
